Privacy Policy

How your personal data is collected, used, and protected when you use this website — and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated: 8 May 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for this website is Alexander Belkavets, an independent delivery-management consultant located in Belarus, serving clients in the US, Europe, and the GCC.

For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact: [email protected].

2. What data is collected

Only the data you choose to provide, plus the minimum needed to run the site:

  • Contact-form details — name, work email, and optionally company, role, company/team size, your main delivery problem, and your preferred follow-up method.
  • Correspondence — if you email or message on LinkedIn, the content of that message and your contact details.
  • Functional browser storage — your theme (light/dark) and language preference are saved in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not transmitted or used to identify you.
  • Server logs — the hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and reliability.

There is no analytics, advertising, tracking, or profiling on this site.

3. Why your data is processed (legal basis)

  • To respond to your enquiry and take pre-contractual steps at your request — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Legitimate interest in managing enquiries and maintaining a secure website — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Consent, where you voluntarily provide optional details — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Functional browser storage is treated as strictly necessary for the features you use.

4. How your data is used

Your data is used solely to read, evaluate, and follow up on your enquiry, and to discuss a possible engagement. It is not sold, rented, added to a marketing list, or used for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Who else may process your data

A small number of service providers process data on my behalf, each under their own GDPR-compliant safeguards:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery.
  • Google (Gmail) — email correspondence.
  • LinkedIn — only if you choose to contact me there.

Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA, so your data may be transferred internationally. Where that happens, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long data is kept

Enquiry details and correspondence are kept only for as long as needed to evaluate and serve a potential or active engagement, and then deleted. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time (see your rights below).

7. Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EU/EEA (and in many other regions), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data held about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected (rectification).
  • Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format (data portability).
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. Requests are handled without undue delay and within one month.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in your country of residence within the EU/EEA.

9. Cookies and local storage

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. The only browser storage used is functional — remembering your theme and language preference — which is strictly necessary for those features and exempt from consent requirements. Because there is no tracking, no cookie-consent banner is shown.

10. Children

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. No data is knowingly collected from them.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version, with its "last updated" date, always applies. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
